People on Trains.

I like to watch people on public transport. People show very different versions of themselves on public transport depending on where they are going and where they have been. Compare for instance the Upfield line at 8am on a Tuesday with 2am on a Saturday.

As a halfway zone between domestic space and workspace or leisure space there can often be a bleed from these private spaces into the public space of mass transit, resulting in public exhibitions of the otherwise private lives of individuals.

Pursuing this further I would like begin to interrogate these spaces by interacting with fellow travellers in various ways (see Idea #6).
